The  President

Greetings! 2020 marks the beginning of 16 years of service for the Chi Upsilon Omega Chapter of alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  We have established ourselves as a chapter focused on community service and engagement in Leon and Jefferson counties.

I am privileged to serve as the 2020-2021 president of this distinguished group of talented women.  We take great pride in “Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service” through the five target areas outlined in our international programs:

Target 1: HBCU for Life: A Call to Action

Target 2: Women’s Health Care and Wellness

Target 3: Building Your Economic Legacy

Target 4: The Arts!

Target 5: Global Impact

And our Signature Program #CAPSM– College Admission Process

Since our 2004 chartering, our chapter has been fully committed to service in our community, mentorship, and superior excellence to our stakeholders.

I invite you to explore our website for information pertaining to our chapter, international programs, and up coming events.  Our social media presence with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter also provides information on our activities.

We appreciate your interest in our chapter activities.  Through your support of our programs in the age of constant and accelerating change, we can make a difference in our community.
